After just 2 lectures (admittedly totally 16 hours of work and about 20 hours of additional reading) I’ve been given my first assignment in the MBA.
It comes from the Managing the Marketing Dimension module and is a 4,000 word written assignment in the form of a business report.
‘For this assignment you are required to adopt the role of a marketing consultant hired to review your client organisation’s marketing situation and critique the current marketing strategy for one of its major product or service categories. You should select a product or service category provided by an organisation from one of the following industries:-

Holiday/travel
manufacturing
leisure

Automotive
Education
Media
Telecoms
The organisation that you choose can operate globally, regionally or nationally.
